    Dennis Rader aka The BTK Killer (BTK=Bind Torture Kill) In 2005 he was convicted of 10 murders in the Wichita Kansas Area. He started his killing in 1974 and stopped in 1991. “He sent boastful letters describing the details of the killings to police and to local news outlets during the period of time in which the murders took place. After a long hiatus in the 1990s, he resumed sending letters in 2004, leading to his 2005 arrest and subsequent conviction.” The police nicenamed him the BTK killer because that was his MO or Modus Operani basically just another way of saying the way he killed people.

She reserved time every afternoon to read to them from the Bible, usually selecting graphic verses from the Old Testament dealing with death, murder, and divine retribution” It is believed that Gein was romantically in love with his mother and went crazy after her death.
